In dealing with claims notified to underwriter's, our services tend to be a little more hands on in terms of the relationship with the individuals directly involved in the notified matter and can be tailored to meet our client's own requirements. Our service typically involves a visit to meet with the insured party and a visit to site as experience has shown that face to face contact at any early stage with the key personnel involved in the notified matter aids a quicker understanding of the technical issue(s) and thereby speeds the claim process. This approach to addressing often complex construction issues lends itself particularly to Design and Construct notifications, where the claim is usually entirely, or principally, first party in nature. As loss adjusters vastly experienced in construction defects we are able to attend site and assess the progress of the existing works and ensure that only matters associated with indemnifying the insured party, in terms of the indemnity afforded by the insurance policy, are quantified as part of the legitimate claim.
